I'm John Baker, a small-group custom travel specialist who specializes in personalized leisure and corporate travel. Private tours are arranged to your specifications for vacation themes such as walking, photography, adventure or sightseeing tours etcetera. In the end it all comes down to you the client requesting and then receiving a quality travel experience.

I originally started leading photographic tours to the British Isles, Canada, New Zealand and across the United States on a regular basis in 1988, and it has blossomed from there. See www.travelimages.com.

A natural extension to Travel Images was to organize small-group travel but with a lot less of an emphasis on photography, hence Travel Designs.  Of course, there is barely a traveler who doesn't carry a camera and consequently my clients have the benefit of an expert photographer on hand for photo guidance too.

If you request a customized trip to a region to which I haven't yet explored, it is thoroughly researched and offered on an exploratory basis at the same rate. Generally though, the larger the group the less the cost per person, though I'll guide groups of as few as two if requested. I don't stop at small groups either.
